Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., is urging U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts to launch an investigation into Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson over her attendance at the Grammy Awards\u00a0on Sunday amid anti-ICE rhetoric from celebrities and artists at the event.\u00a0<br \/>\nJackson was in attendance at this year\u2019s politically-charged event because of her nomination for narrating the audiobook version of her memoir, \u2018Lovely One.\u2019\u00a0<br \/>\nHowever, critics said Jackson clapped as various speakers criticized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).<\/p>\n<p>\u2018While it is by no means unheard of or unusual for a Supreme Court justice to attend a public function, very rarely\u2014if ever\u2014have justices of our nation\u2019s highest Court been present at an event at which attendees have amplified such far-left rhetoric,\u2019 Blackburn wrote in a letter to Roberts.\u00a0<br \/>\nBlackburn, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, called for an investigation into whether Jackson\u2019s actions violate the high court\u2019s Code of Conduct and would require her to recuse herself from certain cases.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018To that end, in the interest of a fair-minded, impartial, and independent federal judiciary, I urge you to initiate an investigation into Justice Jackson\u2019s attendance at this event and if her participation in any way would require recusal from matters that will come before the Court,\u2019 her letter states.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Attendees at the awards were seen wearing \u2018ICE Out\u2019 lapel pins, and some winners spewed anti-ICE rhetoric such as \u2018No one is illegal on stolen land\u2019 and \u2018F\u2014 ICE.\u2019<br \/>\nJackson\u2019s appearance at the event raises questions considering the court is slated to take on cases revolving around the Trump administration, including birthright citizenship and immigration.\u00a0<br \/>\nFox News Digital has reached out to Blackburn\u2019s office and the Supreme Court.\u00a0<br \/>\nIn her letter, Blackburn noted that Democrats and the news media have smeared Republican-appointed justices to the court as \u2018corrupt\u2019 and \u2018partisan.\u2019<br \/>\nShe recalled how Sens.
